Now that the launch of Star Wars The Old Republic Legacy of the Sith may be a month away, many players have already prepared enough SWTOR Credits. Bioware has responded to feedback to provide clarification about changes to Galactic Season 2 and explain what’s going on with Kai Zykken. As many players have noticed, Kai Zykken hasn’t sold his usual merchandise for the past few weeks, only Unidentified Unique Items.
Bioware had no plans for expansion delays and knew his inventory would change with the launch of 7.0, so they didn’t bother setting up the extra weeks. Bioware says a fix can only be implemented now, which could mean it’ll cost more work than it’s worth, so Kai will stay because he can’t roll out Legacy of the Sith until now. For those players who want to develop smoothly in SWTOR 7.0, they should prepare enough SWTOR Credits.
After the release of 7.0, Kai Zykken will sell: A rotating collection of Tactical Items, A rotating collection of Schematics for Tacticals and old Set Bonus armor, A tweaked Unidentified crate, and a Set Bonus gear will be available for 6.0. This crate is like the current Unidentified Unique Item crate, but will no longer contain tactical items, as these products can be got elsewhere.
These changes mean that Mr. Zykken in 7.0 will have a much reduced role in 7.0, mostly as a cosmetic vendor function (since Set Bonuses effects are moving to Implants), and occasionally for Tactical Items for those who haven’t purchased them yet. Players can also Buy SWTOR Credits to get the special items they want.
